I notice that as of 3.0, if I select some text and press ctrl-F, what appears in the search box now has all the spaces quoted using backslashes. This is really ugly, and if I want to edit the search it makes it much harder to figure out what's going on. There isn't any reason to quote spaces in a RE, so please can we have the old 2.x behaviour back?
