Hello,
I'm new in this forum and in Calibre.
I installed Calibre Portable in the default location (Windows C:\Users\Paul\). My C: drive is getting full. To make some room should I:
A) Use Windows Explorer to cut the entire C:\Users\Paul\Calibre Portable folder (containing file calibre-portable-exe and subfolders Calibre, Calibre Library, and Calibre Settings) and paste it into another drive or partition, or
B) Use Calibre's menu Calibre Library > Switch/create library ... ?
As far as I understand, option B only moves subfolder Calibre Library (i.e. my books collection) to the chose New Location, leaving file calibre-portable-exe and subfolders Calibre and Calibre Settings in C:\Users\Paul\Calibre Portable.
In that case, should I check command 1 or 3 below? They look like the same action to me.
1) "Use the previously existing library at the new location".
2) "Create an empty library at the new location"
3) "Move current library to new location"
Many thanks for any help.
Paul
