I want to organize the directory structure of my e-books library in a very specific way. I would like for the books to save in the following directory structure: BooksLibrary/Series Name/Title/
In Calibre I found an option in prefences/Saving books to disk for books to save in a specific way. To get what I wanted, I changed the template as follows:
{series}/{series_index:0>3s}/{title}/{title}
Thinking that this will save my books in the filename {title} in the directory structure similar to what I have above.
Having done that, I see that the books in my e-books directory are still arranged by author name and then by title.
Am I to understand that clicking the "save to disk" button is what reorganizes the files in the e-book library in the way specified, or does that do something else? When I click "save to disk" it asks me to choose another directory, which I'm not sure is exactly what I'm looking for... I want to reorganize the books in my existing e-books directory.
Any insight would be much appreciated.
