Calibre won't send books despite test mail works

Hello folks,

I am using Calibre on the Mac with my Kindle. I set up the mail delivery in Calibre with a new GMX account and when I send a test mail it works fine. However... when I try to send a real book it seems to happen but nothing ever arrives on my Kindle or in my gmx account.. any ideas? Thank you very much!
