help need with the calibre 2.69

I just updated my calibre to 2.69 (after an year) and I am in complete mess. I was playing with some options to see what it does and messed it up. :smack: I need solutions for 2 problems.

1. I am using my android device and store all my ebooks in my sd card. And it keeps sorting with author LN, FN and I searched for an hour and did some of the advice but nothing works. :help:

2. When I connect my device to the calibre and press the Card option. It has only few columns option. I need the timestamp option in there. How do i get it?

FYI - Please send me the details like to a non-tech person because I am completely lost with calibre.
