Series info

Recently purchased (or borrowed) books now show on my Kobo Glo with the series name and number. Hooray!

It's great that this now happens ... but how do I get older books to show similar information? I have tried comparing the metadata information and I can't see what's different. Deleting the books from the reader and from Calibre and then re-importing them doesn't make a difference.
